Thermal imaging use

Thermal imaging helps protect mainly tangible property and reduces the risk of damage or stealing during the day and night. You can have supervised TI forests, nuclear power plants, airports, bridges, petrochemical facilities, factories, pipelines, commercial complexes and private office. In all conditions where other technologies fail, thermal imaging is an ideal choice for active surveillance against intrusion, unauthorized access and other potential security threats in places such as large water areas, coast, airports, ports, warehouses etc. Thermal imaging allows monitoring of nonviolent offenders, missing persons, abandoned cars and thus give the police and security forces a powerful system for the protection of life and detect crime.

How does the termo camera works?

Thermal imager - infrared camera, capable of capturing the eye invisible infrared radiation. Measuring principle thermal imager: measured object emits IR rays and often reflected from the sun. The lens captures radiation of wavelength 4-14 microns. IR beams/rays reaches the sensor of vanadium pentoxide - bolometer. The bolometer according to the amount of absorbed IR radiation is designed to start and thereby changes the electrical resistance. Thermal imager evaluates the change in resistance of the bolometer and calculates the amount of incident IR beams/rays. The values are calculated and the display shows the thermogram, which are color-coded different areas.
